Description: Golden beetroot grow fast in good conditions and are smaller plants, with smaller leaves than most other beetroot. They have beautiful golden coloured roots, that I think are at their best roasted when young and served in a hot winter salad with vinaigrette and cornsalad aka mache.
Planting Instructions: Scatter seed into trays leaving space so they don’t need pricking out, cover with 3mm of seed raising mix. To avoid black spots and rotting leaves must be a quality nutritious mix. Transplant 4-6 weeks later at 10cm diagonal spacings.
