Description

Heritage Status: Overseas
Bio-Region of Origin: America
Number of Seeds: 20

Description: Climber, green snap, dry beans. These are traditional Cherokee beans selected over thousands of years to grow with corn for maximum food security. They are obviously a selection of many different bean cultivars selected to achieve maximum diversity of maturation times and other qualities as a insurance policy. We were very impressed with size of crop and amazing diversity.

Planting Instructions: Plant bean seeds direct into soil under corn plants once corn is 2-30cm high, or transplant seedlings into beds 1 plant below each corn when corn plants are 30cm high.
