Description: Parsnips are ancient vegetables, whose recorded history goes back over 500 years Guernsey dates back to pre 1826 and originated in France. Plant very early spring, and harvest from autumn to the following spring. The more room you give them the larger they will grow.
Planting instructions: Direct Sow in Spring when the ground warms up, evenly sprinkling over 1-2 square meters of finely worked garden bed. Cover with an old sheet or 70% shade cloth to encourage seed germinations and to prevent weeds from germinating before parsnips.
