Gingko Biloba| Seedling

Description

Gingko nuts are the most commonly eaten nut in China. They are delicious and very like a small macadamia nut. The seedling trees are either male or female so you need several to have both sexes, and when they fall in Autumn the outside hull that rots off the hard shelled nut is very smelly. They are best planted away from any houses.

The nuts need to be baked or roasted in a pan to crack the shells to expose/release the nuts as they are toxic if not cooked.
