Description: Heritage, perennial, 1.3m stunning looking silvery leafed mineral accumulator that does very well in dry Mediterranean climates. Purple scotch thistle tip flower heads a lot like globe artichokes and the bees love them. Excellent in a Mediterranean forest garden situation, the stalks of the leaves are very edible as well as beautiful.
