Description: HERB-medicinal | 30cm perennial. St. John’s wort has been used for centuries to treat mental disorders and nerve pain. St. John’s wort has also been used for malaria, as a sedative, and as a balm for wounds, burns, and insect bites. Today, St. John’s wort is used as a folk or traditional remedy for depression, anxiety, and/or sleep disorders. Can become a noxious weed, plant into containers and remove seed heads to avoid that.
Planting Instructions: Sow seed into seed trays in Spring, prick out to 2.5cm diagonal spacing when second leaves appear. Transplant into garden or pots when 5cm high. Spreads fast!
