Description: Ornamental legume that can be coppiced but is best used as chop and drop as it gets too high. Woody upright tree to 7m, if not managed, multi-stemmed with free flowering highly ornamental pink purple flowers in Spring 2-3 weeks.
Planting Instructions: Plant the seeds 1cm deep in a tray of moist potting soil in late Spring. Do not let the planting media dry out. The seeds will germinate one to two weeks after planting if prepared as described above. Prick out into 1 litre pots, and transplant when 50cm high to permanent locations in Summer.
