This kids Activity Pack includes both fun and learning all centred around reconnecting us to the natural world we live in, inspiring curiosity and connection through simple and engaging gardening activities.
The kit contains:
- A blank calendar that can be filled in following instructions, throughout the whole year that helps us see the most important changes happening in our own part of the world.
- 5 Packets in total of organic heritage seeds.
- A microgreens pack to grow for the family salads and in the process learn how seeds germinate and grow and connect with the life in the soil.
- Seeds and instructions for growing a sunflower hut to play in.
- Seeds, instructions and a kit containing things required to understand and name the parts of a flower and learn to hand pollinate the Delicata pumpkins, and save the seeds for the following year.
- A packet of seed that came to this land with some of our ancestors. Learn who brought these seeds, where they came from, why they came and where they settled. This exercise id designed to peak curiosity in the garden and to learn about the stores of our ancestors who bought these seeds.
