Large black grape, sweet with full flavour, excellent as dessert grape. Disease resistant, ripe in March.
From Bishop Pomapallier’s own early orchard plantings in Kerikeri, Northland in the 1800’s. This grape has spread all over Northland now and is a very famous grape.
