- From the Henry Harrington Southland collection, this is the largest of the red currants offered, ripening in mid-December. Bright ruby-red clusters on a vigorous shrub, great for fresh eating, jams, jellies and preserves like other redcurrants.
From the Collection of Henry Harrington in Southland. Henry collected most of his berries along the railway lines travelled by the early settlers and goldminers. This is the largest of our red currants ripening in mid December.
