This collection of NZ heritage berries has come to us from many people around New Zealand, however a significant part of the collection came from Henry Harrington. All these berries are grown from cuttings and grown in Open Ground situation.

Description
Bright red currants in long hanging clusters, juicy with a sharp, sweet-tart flavour. From the Wendy Evans Collection in the lower North Island. Needs coldish winters; does well at Kōanga near Wairoa. About 10 frosts of –3 °C should be cold enough for currants to fruit well.
