Description
Large, round, very maroon red; juicy sweet, sweeter than Northern Spy but similar, old-fashioned winey flavour, desert, cooking, juicing, good keeper. Ripe in March.
From Mrs.Chadwick (along with Cemetery rose), 1991, originally from Harold Hames Valley Rd. (sport off one of his Northern Spy trees).
