These aren’t simply fruit trees. They are part of our living heritage, collected and cared for over generations.

Description
There are grapes connected to old Dalmatian gumdigger orchards and Northland families, apples collected from old orchards around the country, and plums passed on to Kōanga by families who had cared for them for generations.

Heritage fruit trees are known to contain far higher levels of nutrition than modern cultivars, are easiest to grow organically, and are the most disease resistant.
Each bundle contains:
- 2 grapes – White Dalmatian and Isabella
- 1 fig – one of a mix of heritage cultivars
- 4 apples – Red Spy, Bill Rogers, Park’s Large Sweet, and a cooker, either Reinette du Canada or Lord Nelson
- 1 pear – mostly Winter Cole
- 3 plums – Little John, McIntyre, and another heritage selection which could be one of several
- 2 peaches or nectarines – all selected for flavour, nutrition and disease resistance
- 1 Wairoa Apricot
