Description: HERB-medicinal | 120cm biennial. Cottage Garden, medicinal herb. Showy 3-5cm saucer shaped pink flowers amidst large heart-shaped pointy leaves. Once the source of Marsh mallow, the confectionary. The leaves and roots are used medicinally for its soothing effect on the throat, and digestive tract, amongst other things. Tall plant reaching around 1.5 metres.

Planting Instructions: Plant into trays in Autumn for following summer flowering. Prick out to 2.5cm diagonal spacings and transplant when 6cm high to 30cm diagonal spacings.
