Description: Queensland Blue is another well known heritage, long keeping pumpkin, very similar to Crown, with dense deep orange flesh but seem to grow larger , and with a more ribbed pattern on the skin. This one has been saved by Zelka Grammer of GE Free New Zealand fame and passed it to us around 2000.

Planting Instructions: Sow seed into tray after danger of frost. Prick out at 6cm diagonal spacings when first leaves appear. Transplant into garden at 1m diagonal spacings once leaves touch in the tray and soil temp reaches 15-16 degrees C.
