Description: An outstanding home gardeners variety that travelled the world with Italian immigrants late in the 19th century. It produces medium sized delicious early heads followed by multiple side shoots. Leaves and stems are very edible. We’ve been keeping this line alive since the 1980s and have improved the line vastly from it’s original NZ state.
Planting Instructions: Sow Summer to Spring into seed trays and prick out an 2.5cm diagonal spacing. Transplant into beds at 30cm diagonal spacing. Protect from slugs and snails when very young.
