Description: Beautiful striped eggplant or aubergine popular with the Greeks and Italians of the Adriatic region. The long cylindrical fruit have violet white striped thin skin and finely textured firm non bitter flesh of excellent quality. A reliable and vigorous producer, fruit are sometimes borne in clusters fruiting 70 days from transplant.

Planting Instructions: Plant seed on even heat (20 degrees C) in July/August. When second leaves appear prick out at 2.5 cm spacing into 20 cm deep trays. Ready to plant into gardens at 50 cm diagonal spacing when soil temperature has reached 15 degrees C. Cloche may be necessary in early Spring.
