Description: Lamb’s Quarters are an ancient green leaf vegetable that are second only to dandelion leaves as a source of the vegetable precursor to Vitamin A, beta carotene. They are delicious cooked at any stage of growth and are one of the most nutritious greens we can eat. It grows as a weed in many places and is a great summer green.

Planting Instructions: Sowing: Plant in trays in Spring when the gfround warms up and cover lightly. Prick out to 2.5cm spacing and transplant when 5-10cm high to 30cm diagonal spacing. Self seeds easily.
Or as carbon crop: Scatter sow seeds over a prepared area of soil, keep moist for best germination. Mature plants can grow into 1.5m tall bushes.
