Pumpkin- Livingstone Grey (C. maxima)

DESCRIPTION: A classic well known old South African heirloom that came tto us many years ago by Alan Reynolds. It was gifted to us because he had seen that it was becoming extinct over there in the 1990’s. It was well known as a long keeper, and an orange fleshed grey skinned pumpkin similar to the one we know as Crown, and an excellent tasting pumpkin.

PLANTING INSTRUCTION: Sow seed into tray after danger of frost. Prick out at 6 cm diagonal spacings when first leaves appear. Transplant into garden at 1m diagonal spacings once leaves touch in the tray and soil temp reaches 15-16 degrees C.
