Description: A colourful mix of chard and beetroot, includes Bull’s Blood, Margaret Dale Chard and Chioggia grown as microgreens either in the garden or in trays outside or inside. A wonderful, favoursome combo in a salad or in a sandwich. Super easy to grow in winter when short f other things.
Sowing: Scatter sow seed into the garden over 1sqm and cover from the birds until after germination or scatter sow into 4 trays indoors or in a greenhouse where birds can not eat. Place in indirect sunlight to be sprouted to produce a long stem then place in sunlight to green the leaves. Cut when first leaves are open, before its second leaves appear for best results.
