Description: Sweet corn. Our New Zealand version of the classic Golden Bantam. Sent in by N.H. Mastrovich of Gisborne, whose ancestors had kept it alive in the far north since the 1930’s. We mixed it with another New Zealand heritage line of Golden bantam sent in from Northland and the result has been outstanding. Full flavoured yellow cobs, productive plants.
Planting Instructions: Plant into seed trays. Transplant into garden when 5-10 cm high and soil temperature reaches 15 degrees C at 40 cm diagonal spacing.
