Description

Heritage Status: New Zealand
Bio-Region of Origin: Unknown
Number of Seeds: 20

Description: Climber; green snap, shellout and dry bean. This is a green skinned, medium length climbing bean that also makes an excellent shellout bean and dry bean. The dry beans are like red kidney beans. This bean was gifted to our collection by Jules a passing seed saver who had grown it for many years as her family heritage seed line.

Planting Instructions: Scatter sow into seed trays and transplant as soon as second leaves appear at 10 cm spacing under trellis. This avoids problems with birds, slugs, snails, and rotting in cold ground.
